Freo seemed to be going well, but took their foot off the gas half way through the last quarter...
Was looking forward to making you eat your words, as I did last week, but lack of commitment towards the final siren let us down.
Don't really want to get into a Freo/Eagles thing with you though.
I watched the Eagles game yesterday, & was more than happy to see them win.
Obviously, next weeks derby game will be a different story, but I would like to see both WA clubs in the finals.
I reckon we both have good sides this year, & as far as I'm concerned, the more non Vic' teams that make the 8 the better!
Go Freo, & to a slightly lesser extent, go Eagles as well.
BTW, have you got a ticket for next Saturday? It's a Freo home game, so as a PG Member, I'll be there.
Maybe we can meet up for some beers in The Subi or Paddy's before/after the game??

Sorry Scossie but I fancy the coasters will be to strong for you next week especially after that long trip to Tassie & back.

I would hope so after the Eagles midfieled played a shocker. No Cousins, no Gardiner, Judd, Fletcher and Kerr had a very ordinary game compared to there high standards

I got 6, bloody swans!! I tipped freo as a gamble and it nearly paid off
I've gone from 4,ooo to 2,000 on the "ten" ladder and i'm the first girlie on ours. However theres a guy above me (5) who seems to have less scores than me, can someone explain please

You have 9 points, same as someone else but his cumlitive margin is smaller so he is above you.
The smaller the margin the better, thats why he is above you with "less scores". Your actually on same points but you could say his goal average is better.

And I would have had bloody 7 out of 8 if Freo hadn't lost the plot in the final quarter, and turned a 16 point lead into a 1 point loss!!
