Hi,

I am a newbie to posting on forums, normally Hubbie does this for me.
So, please forgive any mistakes made.

We are soon to migrate to Oz (NSW) in the district of Camden.
We are planning to arrive late August, we are reluctant to rent long term just by selecting and viewing over the internet, prefer to do some checking when we arrive but that leaves us with the problem of nowhere to live when we initially arrive and limited budget due to the crazy exchange rate. So we are thinking about trying to find a place in the area if possible for 6-8 weeks whilst we find our feet.

So I was wondering if anyone could help with advice with our dilemma, Options we have thought of so far are : Hotels (bit pricey), Holiday Lets (not much in the area), Caravan / Holiday park (again limited in area but so far seems to be most preferred).

If anyone could offer any advice or advize us on their previous experience they had when emigrating or even alternative options, we would be most grateful.

Check with local real estate offices for holiday rentals in the area. It will also give you an opportunity to get to know the agents for your longer term rental. Good luck. You'll do fine
