Default Advice sought from those in IT in Perth.

Hi,

OK I dont have much longer until I finally make my move out to Perth, everything is almost in place except for work. Which if I am honest is a huge worry to me, I dont actually specialise in one area which I think may cause some problems when looking for work. In my 10 year career I have covered, PhP, Visual Basic, HTML, Active Directory, 2003 Server environments, Server builds, network trouble shooting, forensics I could keep going and going.
I am hoping to find maybe a field engineer role, or server support role that will allow me to stick to it and progress rather than bouncing from contract to contract.

Do those that are out there at the moment have any advice or experience of this in Perth, how did you guys find it ?

Thanks

Hi Phil,
Lots of IT work in perth at the moment in all different fields.
Dont worry about it, once your here you shouldnt have any problem finding something to get you started.
Almost impossible to secure something without physically being here to be interviewed in person, But I would expect you to have secured something and be working within a few weeks.
Drop me a PM with your exact arrival date and i'll see if I can assist.

Regards
Steve
