Adult with child aus passport in UK wanting to travel to Aus
Hi, My son is in the UK (18) has a child Aus passport still in date (just), has UK passport, he wants to come to Australia, is it better to travel on UK passport and renew Aus passport to an adult one while here, or try and change in the UK?. Thanks in advance

If he has Australian citizenship he is required to enter Australia with his Australian passporp. As a citizen he cannot hold a visa, so can't use another passport for entry to Australia.

Get him to travel quick while its still valid. As Dorothy says an Aus citizen needs to enter on an Aus passport. He cannot get a visa and enter on his UK one.

Your sun can change his passport here in the UK, both our sons had a child passports and renewed them here to adult passports, it was pretty easy and simple to do.
