sjs1 is an unknown quantity at this point
Arrow address

If you are going to work your way around the world, have no family and do not own a home, where would you have an address? Can you get a p.o box in uk prior to leaving? I enquired at royal mail but you have to have a physical address to get one and then you have to collect post regularly.
For example, banks need an address, hmrc need an address etc

Welcome to BE.

As the Welcome Inn is purely for introductions...I have moved your thread over to our Australia forum.

Not sure about the U.K. but we have a PO box in the US...they forward our mail to our Canadian address. We have mail forwarded every 2 weeks...but we could change that to any time period. The address doesn't show it's a PO box...123 Anytime Road...Suite no 456, Anytown. The Suite no being the box number.

Do you not have a friend who can receive mail for you? Or a solicitor dealing with legal stuff on your behalf?
Or a company like Ship to Shore - More than just a mail forwarding service

Thank you for posting that, Polly. I will save that, in case I ever need a UK address.
