ACS Assessment Question
Hi,
I am applying for an ACS assessment. I completed a diploma in systems management alonside my bachelors degree in commerce in 97. After that I started working as a programmer analyst. I also completed an advanced diploma in computer science and an MCSD during my employment. I have around four and a half years of experience. Is it ok that I gained these qualifications alongside my work or do the guidelines mandate that the experience has to be post qualification ? Tony |
Re: ACS Assessment Question
Hi Tony,
If you have a Group B qualification with ACS, the work experience can be gained before or after you obtained the Group B qualification. But if your work experience was before the qualification you should be able to explain how you were able to work as a professional without the qualification, because that's an obvious question. Re: ACS Assessment Question
Hi George,
I completed a diploma in systems management (computers) equal to a year and a half duration alongwith my graduation and also a certificate of a business professional programmer. After that I started working and during the course of my employment, I enhanced my qualifications. In other words, I did have a basic qualification as a programmer to start with. Would that be fine. Thanks Tony |
