I'm just about to start putting together my documents to send off to the ACS. A few days ago I read a post that highlighted the types of information I should be sending to them, but I have just spent the last hour searching for it but can no longer find it! Can someone give me an idea of exactly what documents I should be sending to them. I recently read that somebodys assessment was delayed until they sent a list of modules studied on their degree. I would never have thought about sending that, and that's why I want to make sure I get it right first time.

Many Thanks,

Adrian Robson

Adrian,

You should be looking at sending certified copies of all of the following:-

- CV
- references covering a minimum of 3 years post-graduate work (these should be
detailed, including specific work you have done, languages you know etc.).
- your degree certificate
- your degree transcript (this is the "list of modules" you referred to) - contact
your university who should supply you with one for a small fee.
- birth certificate or passport
- and the ACS application form and payment of course

I assume you've had a look at the information available on the ACS website? If not,
pay a visit to http://www.acs.org.au/national/accre...os-credit.html

Good luck,

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Adrian

On the ACS website it has a full list of what you need www.acs.org.au

When my partner sent of for his skills assessment, he inclusded the following -

1. Certified copy of degree certificate.
2. Cert copy of all the modules/areas studied as part of degree course - you write to
your uni for this.
3. Proof of relevant work experinence, in the form of references from work.
4. CV - I think or that might have been our visa!?!

I think they were the main things, hope this helps, good luck

Also include descriptions and certified copies of documentation substantiating
professional development activities - formal courses, in-house/employment based
training, personal study (ie buying manuals and teaching yourself).
