ACS Assessment

Hi,
I've 6 yrs of exp in IT industry and hold a bachelor degree in computer sc. I applied for ACS assesment, they sent a letter stating my bachelor degree is comparable to aus bachelor degree which is fine, but the work exp they stated as 12 months in C++. Can anyone help what should i do, will this anyway affect the immigration process or when assessing points. can i write to ACS back clarifying this. pls advise.
