Hhhmmm, its not good.
But as they say, it's grim up north! And no one is currently interested in my beautiful 3 bed semi in a great area for ONLY £135,000.
It would be 3 times that in the south!

Thanks so much to the people that have offered advice on our predicament - it is VERY much appreciated and will help greatly in our research.

No agro from us this time
,
SIL lives in Ipswich, she finally settled there after letting in various other places.She too had to consider commuting. She lives in a very green suburb in Ipswich and hasn't had a bad word to say about it. The house prices are good at the mo, and a huge shopping mall has opened near by. It may be worth checking out when you get over there, rather than dismissing it because others say it's shit!!

You had to have your moving Avatar before the site rules changed and only Premium members allowed the movement... hence I'm forever stuck with a beer bottle.
