Well, I am a Pom and came on here when researching info about spouse visas. I started muttering about some of the things people posted as it seemed to me that they lived in a different Australia to the one I live in. MrsD read some of them, agreed with me that they were often rubbish and joined so that she could put people straight

I think OzTennis is on here because his wife is a Pom and was also doing the spouse visa thing.

99% of the time - yes.

As at this point we had counted two Aussies, both with UK links, either spouse or being in UK. (Not that many in the whole scheme of things)

I feel it is very good to have Aussie input, as it helps those that want help to find there way around, get "local" knowledge, and save some of the hassles of being in a new country, alone. Without help like that, many people could have endless problems.

I wouldn't mind if it was just the forum but they keep picking on my threads for some bizarre reason . Anyway time to call this thread quits, I’ve bought a colour laser now so its time to go and print some money like the locals do. Might build a still while I’m at it and drive everywhere drunk as a monkey then I think I’d fit right in at last. See ya all in a few weeks…..off to do some real work again….

I also forgot to mention that the non-weirdos working at Nouvelle Bunnings would go around barefoot with supermarket trolleys running over customers feet as they look for photocopies, work boots, air conditioners et al.
