Don't forget nothing's free in the UK. You just don't get a choice - you pay whopping NI payments for it, several times more than Medicare.

Sorry about the rant - just get a bit sick of hearing complaints about having to pay for stuff that's 'free' in the UK.

ignore the fact that you pay for ambulance in your NI payments If you hae a road accident the insurance company is often billed for the ambulance services as well And when you call the fire service it is not always free sometimes they will bill you as well depends why you called them out.:scared:
