US Election
Purely financial here. I'm having big bet on Obama. 1.40 may look short but gives 40% return. (or 100% loss).....but can't see that.

Re: US Election
I really don't think there is much interest here. I've now put on a decent size bet. No political view but Obama generates 30% return even now.

haven't put any money on it but I hope Obama wins. No particular reason except that Mitt Romney gives me the creeps. Also, during the hurricane Obama seemed genuinely upset whereas Mitt was always smiling that creepy smile for the cameras.

Re: US Election
Obama has proved incapable of solving the country's problems. Added to which he hasn't even closed Guantanamo prison. But I just know that Romney will be 100 times worse...
A few months ago Romney said he could create 12 million jobs. Well, wouldn't it be his patriotic duty to say how, so that whoever's in power can get on with it?

Re: US Election
Yeah good point and, for me, an interesting parallel with the last French election where you had a dishonest incumbent who had also failed to solve any of the countries major problems competing with a dishonest incompetent as the challenger (sound familiar)...........oh and in France the challenger won...........................probably go the other way Stateside though, be interesting to see how it pans out
