Default UK's million-selling singles

Just a bit of fun on a Monday morning ...

How many of these did you buy / or do you even know?

I never had a record player - poor me.

I recognise a lot of those songs though, even Bob The Builder.
I would never have bought the hateful Teletubbies song.

I had a radio/tape recorder and I used to push "play and record" to tape songs from the top 20 on a Sunday evening. The trick was pressing "pause" before the DJ started talking at the end of a song.

I wasn't allowed to spend a lot of time in my room. Mum was always convinced I was up to no good and not studying at all. She actually once lifted up my mattress hoping to find unsuitable books like "Lace" that she was sure I was reading instead of revising.

I was reading it .... at school. I wasn't foolish enough to bring it home
