On the spot driving fines of £100
in the UK of course, for middle lane hogging, tailgating, using a mobile phone while driving and driving without a seatbelt on.

No Mike, it will not work here because a lot of the fines will be thrown in the bin after 'interventions'.

The comunes are all very hot on that kind of thing round here, although not 'on the spot' of course, as that would mean you wouldn't have the chance to get that person you know to let you off in the meantime.
Apart from speed cameras around here they now install those stupid tutor things where somehow they calculate your average speed over a certain stretch of road and if it's over so much the fine is duly deliverèd. Hate 'em.

They have the same thing in the UK, I thing they're called "SPECS".
