My heart is broken,
my father died this afternoon from heart attack. I am off on the plane tomorrow with DD who wailed and wailed for her grandpa.
I am too schocked to cry. Got to arrange the funeral with my mum who is incredibly strong, but I know she will crumble.....
And only this morning I was arranging to go and see them next month....has not seen the grandkids for 2 years and never will....

So sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you. It is a difficult time for you all. Do take time to think of yourself though. Everyone asks how your mum is, very few remember you are hurting too.

Devastating news, and these things are so unexpected, very sorry for your loss. I know how the death of my FIL from a heart attack felt, he was early 50s, and at work when he just said he had to sit down, 5 mins later his friends looked at him and realised he wasn't breathing.
