I saw it this am on my fb page. Typical 21st. century street theatre in Naples. Fantozzi couldn't have made it up. Then I thought '..there, but for the grace of God'

Sadly it was a fake, a commercial part of a safe driving campaign for ACI. In the real world, in such a situation the driver would have been probably covered with insults and then ripped apart by a ferocious mob.

There were a lot of young men watching, they could easily have lifted up one end of the little car and swung it around.

Some years ago I saw a really minor road accident in a small side street in Naples, and the crowd was much the same, noisy and unhelpful.

Just about any three men from the crowd could have picked up the rear end and just walked it round! .... Four or five friends and me picked up the front end of a Morris Minor (complete with engine) when I was at high school.
