And a hell of a lot less friendly than it was in the 60's

Moz is quite easy. There are a lot of Zimbo's on Brit passports just over the Mutare border at a Fishing Lodge there. Plus down in Vilanculos there is a place called Blue Water Lodge. Run by a Zimbo with a Brit passport. So they do manage to be there. Only ever been there on holiday, but loved it really. Just north of Beria there is a great Beach resort on a small Island. Possibly one of the most amazing beaches I have been to - and I've been to a few.

Lived in Maputo from 84 to 89/90..my childhood. Was safe enough then, though we never ventured too far out of the capitol for genuine safety concerns at the time. It was a city with potential..my great grandfather reclled it as the pearl of east africa from years ago. More rfecently, family and friends have been back and say its much nicer than during the civil war..I can only trust them.

Would jump at a chance to get back, work or visit wise.
