Default Any demand for IT professionals?

Hello Chaps and Chapesses,

I have itchy feet and would love to return to Africa, though I'm not too sure how to go about it.

I'm a Java dev by trade and was wondering whether there was any demand for IT professionals.

I'm currently a civil servant in the UK but one who is considering voluntary redundancy.

In all African economies preference is given to citizens. The days of emigration to The Union of South Africa or the Central African Federation are long gone !You might get something on a volunteer programme. Have you looked at VSO ?

Look at the critical skills list before you do anything. If your particular skill is listed here, then you have a chance: http://southafricahouseuk.com/docume...skillslist.pdf
