Default Australia Visa - Part Qualified CIPFA

Hello

I am a local government finance officer qualified to diploma level with CIPFA.

Does anybody know whether this is likely to earn any points in a skills assessment or would I definitely have to qualify with CIPFA before I applied for a visa ?

Any advice is appreciated.

HI

You will need to be qualified as an accountant with one year's post membership experience before you are able to apply for a visa.

You don't "earn points" for a skills assessment. You either pass it or fail it.

I don't know what qualified to diploma level means, but if you have not completed all the CIPFA exams then I do not see how you will pass the skills assessment.

Thanks for the info.
I Thought as much but I was kinda hoping I could scrape enough points together with my current quals to take advantage of a Voluntary redundancy package on offer at the moment.
I only have one exam to pass but by the time I get it, the package will not be on offer.
Thats if I ever pass it - my final exam is a 7 hour case study and it is an absolute nightmare of an exam.
Thanks again
