Advice - help
Good evening
I have look through the past threads to see if i can get the answers ....
I have a few questions, was wondering if anybody could help us with the answers.
We have applied for S.A. State Sponsorship on line, we now have to gather up a few items to send to them:
My husband is an accountant (CIMA)
where would we go to get skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority?
Would he need to complete the IELTS?
Licensing or Registration?
If anybody can help - many thanks

Re: Advice - help
Most states would want a skills assessment before they consider sponsorship. Not all do, have SA said anything in this regard?
He will need to take IELTS before sending off skills assessment.
Accountants do not go through any licensing or registration process beyond skills assessment.
As a CIMA accountant, I recommend your OH contacts CPA regarding skills assessment, he could then get mutual recognition at same time. Although mutual recognition is not essential, I am doing fine without it and it saves me another membership fee.
