Well congratulations. So what now is the benefit in slogging so hard and getting the ACCA qualifications?

I wonder why they made this sudden decision.

Also, the decision is a huge disappointment for CAs from India which benefited from that rule.

Hell Boy,

What is that evaluation? Is degree to ACCA students from OBU is still recognised for US-CPA or not?

My advise to you would be to forget about the Oxford Brooks University. Its not a full time course. Its delivered part time and nobody actually cares about it, no credits whatsoever. The only way an ACCA member could be eligible to sit for the US CPA exams now is by having a US MBA along with the ACCA.

Hi Hell Boy,
You said million thanks to ACCA for arranging a degree from OBU? Why you said it if it is not recognised for admission into US-CPA. Furthermore HK-CPA
is also not recognising it.

Will they recognise the MBA awarded to ACCA members from OBU?

Hi Hell Boy,

You should reduce your million thanks for Graduate degree to no thanks! to ACCA.

The decision regarding ACCAs has already been made. The decision you are referring to (Feb. 24) is whether CAs from countries like India/Pakistan can verify work experience.

Hi Blendin,

I am asking that do ACCA certificates still meet requirement of rule 2.4?

The degree from OBU meet that rule 2.4?

I have no idea. Why don't you submit your educational credentials to WES or FACS .

Alternatively, you can apply to Delaware (only requires a two-year associates degree).

Sorry but when did I say that? I don't remember. As for your 2nd question, it is unlikely that the state boards will recognize any qualification if it is not classroom based and as such if the OUB is not class room based, you can forget about it.
