Phew - well that's another one over with.  This morning saw me run my 2nd triathlon of the www.blokestri.co.nz series.  Following on from my poor showing and general shambolic preparation for the first one, since then I have been putting in some training.  I've quit the booze, and run 2 miles a day for the past month.  Although not much has changed weight wise, fitness and stamina proved to be much better the 2nd time around.  Where as last time I came 76th of 78, this time I came 57th of 68 in a time of 1hr, 3mins and 56 seconds to do 200m swim, 15km ride, and 4km run.  To say I am chuffed is about spot on!  Pics are at the following:

In other news, T has got the web site of new business venture up and running: http://www.atmosphereplanning.com/  It's very basic right now, but will be undergoing some finessing over the coming weeks to make it look as slick and professional as T.  Even better, through a bit of hardcore networking, T may have scored a Sunday job at the Wedding Centre - considered to be THE place in ChCh that brides to be go to for info and advice - a great chance for her to become 'a face' in the wedding scene here.  As I've said many times before - ChCh is a WHO you know town, and this should be an amazing opportunity.  Here's hoping!

As mentioned earlier, we move from our current house on the 22nd of November - just a couple of weeks away.  I can't believe just how much we have still to get done.  I've managed to do loads of the odd jobs I've been putting off for over a year which has been good.  Why is though that it has taken the fact that we will be LEAVING here to do all these things that ultimately give us a better home?  It'll look the best ever the day we leave, I guarantee it - what's that all about?!

We are under huge stress to get the current place rented.  As is our usual modus oprerandii, weve left ourselves zero room for a financial manouver should we not get it rented by the day we leave so if anyone wants a 3 double bed rental in the centre of ChCh for 3 months or more then get in touch!

There's loads more to cover but I'm needed to start packing some boxes so it'll have to wait.
