How time flies when you're having fun!

Can it really be three months since the last entry?    Yup - it really is.  Good lord!  So, last you heard, T and I were sailing away into the sunset clutching our permanent residency-filled passports in our sweaty hands.

What's happened since then?  Well, a fair bit!  The short version is:

T flew to the UK for her best friend Julia's wedding, spending a whole week over there.

T's knee was knackered from the skiing and so she spent two months on crutches but is well on the way to a - rather longwinded - recovery.

We've sold the Honda Ascot, and T now has a nice and shiny new car.

T is in the process of setting up a wedding planning business, which will be going full stam ahead in Jauary 2009.

We have bought a new house (the one pictured in the article (see earlier blogs) ages ago which at the time we didn't own!).

We have sold our section of land in Rolleston, and so the dream of building our own house is over for now.

We went to Taupo for a few days for our third wedding anniversary - and that was bloody lovely.

I have entered a triathlon series (http://www.blokestri.co.nz/) and ran the first one 2 weekends ago.  I wasn't last, and didn't die so there is definately room for improvement there over the next 2.

I went to the Kaikoura Seafest (http://www.seafest.co.nz/seafest/) with a bunch of folks and had a great old time - though the next day was not the best.  A tip - beer and wine do not make for easy hangovers!

We will be heading off to South East Asia for a well earned 3 week holiday in early 09 - we can't WAIT for that one!

My parents and T's mum will be over for this Christmas - another thing we can't wait for.  Just today we have been planning what we will be doing and it's gonna be brilliant.

We have both bought new bikes following our old one's being stolen - these ones are being kept locked away!

I have a motorbike!  A Yamaha TDR 250 - and that is a long and painful story in its own right.

We have been to Dunedin twice, to see our friends Andy & Christie

I've done a fair bit of fishing, and caught this kahawai the other day when Andy (from Dunedin) came up to help me out with the TDR:

Work for us both continues to go well, which is as it should be.  I end this brief entry with the news that we move into our new place late November.  As we are keeping hold of to rent out, does anyone want to rent our current place off us?!

Take care all, and when I get my writing hat back from wherever I've lost it I'll expand on a few of these themes as well as adding a few more.  I leave you with a pic of us during our trip to Taupo.  It's a large bugger, so if you're on dial-up, we're probably not worth it ;)

At last!
