...as Delboy in 'Only Fools...' would say! Why? Well it looks like things are a big fat 'GO' on the City house. Not without its problems though I can tell you! First off the mortgage man, he say 'NO!', then we say 'Awwwww... come on!' and he say 'Hmmmmmmm... maybe....' and we say 'Awww go ON - we'll be good we promise!' and he eventually say 'Go on then you cheeky little devils you!' and we say 'Yippeeeee!'.
So, a bit of wheeling and dealing is still to come, and we have a couple more smaller hoops to jump through, but if we handle them with the usual aplomb (!) then we should then be all signed up to move into our new house in mid-to-end October!
We are scared, (Well, I certainly am - as I always am when large amounts of money and debt are involved), but we are ecstatic as it means a place of our own, no more renting out this chilly wanky flat (despite it's great location) and the house has loads of furture 'investment potential'.
Here's hoping!
On a different note we have just now got back from a bit of 10 pin bowling. T was invited by a teacher at work, and seeing as you have to put out to get out, as it were, we jumped at the chance. Met some great folks, and we had a really good time. And all for the princely sum of 6 buks each. Nice!
My goodness, there is SO much going on at the moment that my had is spinning - still, it should all work out well in the end, and if life was easy then it would just be too boring, eh?
