A Nation In Mourning

Well, it had to happen at some point - the invincible All Blacks have finally been found lacking, and after a stunning effort the Aussies pinched the win last night in Melbourne.

We had a good time watching it at the local bar with Olly, Brett and a couple of others, along with a pub full of Kiwi's.  It was a close match and so a good watch, however it was not as rowdy and passionate as I'd been led to believe it would be, and the couple of Aussies there didn't get lynched after the win.  Not like an international footy match in Southend then!

We're about to head out after a lazy morning.  I've got to do some car maintenance as the Sigma of Much Beauty is not loving life at the moment so a few basics need to be checked.  Apparently cars need oil... who knew?!

Other than that, we'll see how the day goes.  At least it's warmed up a bit.  Meant to be 16 degrees here in ChCh today - and it's not unusual!  The winter weather here really takes some getting used to - I am certainly not complaining though.
