We were in the luxuries of Pac'n'Save yesterday, and just on a whim I bought a random ticket. All of yesterday and today I've been telling T 'How does it feel to be married to a lotto winner?' and cor blimey guv but we've only gone and landed a bit of free moolah!
When T was reading out the ticket numbers to me from the internet I was sure that she could see the ticket I was holding , but no - 5 numbers it is! We sprinted back down to Pac'n'Save but their lotto counter was closed. Gah! Headed off to the 24hr store by the Casino and yup - it's confirmed - 830 smackeroonies. They had to ferret through all their tills and petty cash to scrape it together, then gave it to us there and then.
Now come on - HOW FRICKIN' COOL IS THAT?!!!!
OK, it's getting paid off the Credit Card tout suite, but saves us having to earn it.
Now to crack open a celebratory bottle of vino. CHEERS!
