We love t'internet!

We've just got off an MSN video call with our mates Julia & Nick back in Sarfend.  I can't tell you just how good it is to have a chat like that, whilst seeing the folks who are over 12000 miles away as if they were sitting opposite you!  We talked crap for ages and seeing as it is effectively free it was great knowing that we didn't have to watch the time and the $$$'s.  An image speaks a thousand words, and heres the T, just a few moments ago:

The wierdest thing is the time difference, in that they were supping on beer following a long week at work, whilst we're groggily sipping at coffee after just getting up.

Seeing as the thing we miss most about the UK are the people, this is a great way to get that 'just off to the pub for a pint with my mate' rapport feeling.  Bloody brilliant!

It seems that MSN Messenger works best for us here, as Skype (everyone's favourite it seems) just doesn't like us much, with very jerky video and rubbish audio.
