It went well!

Good news on the interview front.  Despite indications to the contrary, T's interview was very informal and consisted of the head, deputy head, a senior teacher and a governor asking some set questions.  T popped in at my work before heading off to the interview and we did a number of practice questions and stuff which seemed to settle her down a bit and get a bit of focus on the job in hand.  It seemed to do the job because as ever, T fielded these with aplomb and gave as good as she got when it came to asking them questions right back so all in all it was a good show.

With regards to the jourey time: from central ChCh the journey to Ashburton was 1hr 10mins each way which although do-able is not ideal.

The school will be in touch on Sunday evening with their decision, and will expect a response from the successful applicant by the following Wednesday

So, what shall we do...?  We still don't know, but it buys us a little time with regards to T's other application so it's definately a case of suck it and see.  Ultimately I don't think it'll be the right move at this time but we're not discounting it either way.
