Great news! Toni has just secured - in ONE day - not one...
Not two...
But THREE relief teaching shifts over the next few weeks!!!!!
She is well and truly, and at long last, on her way up the ChCh teaching ladder - HOORAY!!!!!
The first shift was waiting on the answer phone when we got home today, from the Shirley Primary School, following Toni's visit to the Head Mistress there this morning. Just goes to show that all the phone calls and banging on doors really DOES work! The other 2 have just come in now from the agency she registered with 2 weeks ago.
We have just has a good old dance around the lounge, and I reckon it's about time to crack open the bottle of bubbly in the fridge that's been waiting for a bit of 'GREAT NEWS'. It's been sitting there a while now, but if this doesn't qualify to get that cork popped, then I don't know what does!
We'll let you know how it goes, as the first shift is this Friday. So, for the Wiz'n'Ton foray into NZ, let's call this the end of the beginning.
