Oscar!

We'd like to introduce to you our new addition to the NZ O'Dell's, and that is Oscar the cat!  Seeing as Toni and I have had cats around since our relationship began all those years ago back in the mists of time, we felt that something from our new life was missing.

So, after a few visits to the local pet shops Toni found the purrrrfect moggie - a wee little boy of white and tabby called Oscar.  Ain't he sweet?!

He can be a bit of a monster at times, and definately comes from a long line of mousers, as he's the most fearless and playful cat we've ever had.  He even pounces on our feet whilst we're walking!!  We have both found it to be a real help having a friend around to keep us company,  especially with me being at work all day leaving the Tonster at home on those days when she's not working with Select.  One thing however, is that he's a little snore-monster!  He refuses to sleep anywhere but on the bed, but once settled it sounds like a mini earthquake's going on.  A few nudges soon sort him out, but I can tell you that he certainly gives me a bit of competition!

He's a real cheeky fella and as all kittens are, is into absolutely everything - including the kitchen drawers, the bins, the stuff under our bed... I pity the local wildlife once he gets outside, so it'll soon be time for a collar and a bell.

All in all though, he's a little ray of sunshine and we think he's great.  Plus he doubles as a scarf on the cooler mornings - a true Gin of Bar!
