my first 9 months in canadaMon 29 December 2008

our first nine months here in canada has been one roller coaster after another, but with new year only days away we can only hope 2009 will be a better year. on arriving on 5th march 2008 we thought life was going to be just great, a new life, kids dont have to suffer under the hands of bullies partner has great job  ok long hours but we  were ready for that and so we were happy. then we find out the job is not at all what it seemed and we have problems getting my handicapped son on my partners new work permit  and then every time you seem to get past one hurdle another comes popping up and you are back on that dam roller coaster ride again. thankfully I have friends from the expats who helped keep me going when I was on such a low and they have become so dear to me.  other people asked is it all worth it and if I am being honest some times I did wonder and wanted to give up but when I see how happy my kids were here and my partner doing everything to keep us here then yes I know all the tears and hair pulling is worth every day spent here and we know its still not going to be an easy ride, not until the day we get that PR under our belts or end up back on that roller coaster ride and we cant pull our way out this time. but we will hang on as long as we can and hope to god things do get better . I know some people say they dont stand a chance with having a handicapped but we are lucky enough to have a good doctor helping us and so far we have been  ok that way and yes there are still some hurdles to climb there and that we will sort when the time comes and each person with a handicap has the same right to move with their families as any other son or daughter husband or wife. I can only hope 2009 is a better year and the roller coaster does not seem so bad in 2009 and every other year after that. ok thats my first post on here and maybe some day I can do a follow up and who knows it just might give hope to others who have a handicapped person in their lives and wanting to move here to canada as I know some have been refused and others are worried about making that move and even just normal people going through shit while here , maybe this can give hope to them that yeah it can be hard at times but there is always hope.

now maybe this will stop my blog from being less interesting and if my spelling is wrong SO WHAT  and to those who laugh at my blog saying its so readable guess what I did it
