Samurai man is standing on the edge here. Been to 50 countries. Lived in 5 of them. Now time to retire. But where? For years I have said Thailand. Spent a year there working. Still know folks. Love the beach. But all them Hawkers. Every 3 minutes. 'You buy.' I love Asia but wonder about the MED. Gozo looks fab. But I don't know it. SO dear reader. Where do I go? I am retiring, single, straight and have a Japanese girlfriend who will spend some of the time with me. I need some culture, affordable dwelling, friendly people, benign religions, stable goverment and some change in the weather. AM I asking YOU the impossible?
