So it's official - I'm rubbish at keeping this up to date!

Hey everybody, sorry its been soooooo long.  Been busy at work and having no laptop makes it difficult to access the internet at home!!

So what's been happening here in the Cayman Islands? Well lots of work, not really any sunbathing due to it still being hurricane/rainy season although it is still damn hot here.  Kim was over for 11 days at the beginning of September which was fantastic and I'm flying out to Barbados in 3 weeks for a week, very excited.  This whole living in two different countries is really hard work, I know its not forever (with any luck not for to much longer but thats all a bit up in the air at the moment) but it doesn't make it that much easier.  Was more difficult this time as he left me to go back him instead of the other way around, apartment felt very empty and I was very lonely for a few weeks.

Work is busy at last which is very good. even have to work on Saturday - oh the joy!! But seeing as there is no such thing as paid holiday when your a temp I need to make up some hours, although I don't think I'm going to get paid double time for working at the weekend - I miss Eversheds overtime!

Haven't been up to anything that exciting, apart from Kim's visit, since I last wrote as I'm on a very tight budget. Can't wait to start earning some proper money when, all being well, I get taken on a Maples  - role on 4 February 2009.

I am really sorry I'm so rubbish at keeping in touch, but not even being able to access hotmail or facebook at work really doesn't help the situation, I mean what am I meant to do with those spare 5 minutes in between e-filing and amending documents?  Please do keep emailing me, writing on my wall and sending me messages on facebook.  It's always great to hear whats going on back home, helps to stop me feeling home sick and it's nice to be kept in the loop!!

Having a great time here in the Caymans, and don't regret for a minute making the big move, it's a fantastic opportunity and life is far to short to pass up those opportunities, doesn't mean I don't miss all you guys loads though, just wish I could bring you all out here!

Take care, hope to hear from you all soon.

Lots of love Rach xxxx
