We should be on our Emirates flight now - about an hour away from connection at Dubai - I've tried not to think about it all day - my mum asked me why the outlaws were here so then I thought about it, but have been keeping myself busy for the most part.
I haven't seen the OH since 7.30am this morning), he left three chef's (which he like to call either "The Suicide Squad" or "The Dolly Mixture's") there yesterday with having the day off, he went in to no doubt ditch all the sour stuff, ring the order's in that they should have done last night, and the owner's are away so no doubt half the fridges are missing too! One of the Dolly Mixture's is leaving today, so by the time he's finished cleaning down (or is it up I forget which way round it is)? they'll all meet up with past n present cheffy mates then go for super-hot curry (why if they have such a sensitive palate do they all love to numb it with chilli's)??
Don't get me wrong, I dont mind him being a chef, in fact I quite like it;
I get gorgeous food all the time (so do the kids)
we see him in an afternoon (split shifts)
I don't "know" any different - he's been a chef longer than Ithe 15 years we've been together
I actually do enjoy my own company, I like to potter about, n when he's oiff I feel the need to sit with him etc, (even if it is watching sports)!
I get to dress up in fab-u-lous ball gown's down in "the big schmoke" when he win's awards (he also looks like James Bond in his tux...no seriously ...he does)! gggrrrrrooooooowwwwwwlllll *claws*
I always joke that if he wasn't a chef then we wouldn't have lasted all these years, in fact when we go on holiday - we both wish he was back at work after about day 3!
Jesus Christ it's raining so hard it's set the car alarm off...hang on......
Typical, as soon as I got there it had stopped! Bloody weather!
Anyway, what was I saying?? Oh God, I can't even finish off an interesteing blog today, never mind a coherent ....
