Email from WA .....

I didn't get up and rush to the laptop to check emails as normal today, I waited until I had more time after I finished work.

We got an email, it said:

Dear  Perthfect ,

Please send us a scanned copy of the job offer that you have received.  Meanwhile please note the current processing time is 12 -16 weeks due to the unprecedented number of applications we receive each day.  Currently applications lodged in January, 2009 are being processed.  All applicants and agents are encouraged to refrain from requests for status updates as it takes time away from processing thereby causing further delays.

I hope this information has been helpful to you.

Err - no not really (sorry).

So, why are they asking for this information (again) then telling us to be patient?

Dare I hope that they might look at our application sooner than the end of June/July timescale they are appearing to indicate?

I know, I know, probably not, are they just saving time for when the time DOES come??

Oh I dont know, I wish I did, better just bunker up and resign myself to the fact *again* that we ain't gonna hear anything anytime soon.

Why the hell do I get my hopes up all the time, only to be dashed!?

I know WA aren't strictly processing application's in order, please please please, get to us before July! Please?

I watched a programme the other day, called "six degree's of seperation"- It basically said that there are only 6 connection's between any two seperate people in the world. Oh god, how I wish I could get to a descision maker at WA SMC, then DIAC!

I know I'm only wasting energy having thought's and worries like this. I just can't help it! It mean's so much to us, it's all consuming and I'm sure it's not good for any of us.

#1 Perthette was awake a lot last night - ear-ache (apparently), so I'm sure lack of sleep is adding to my synisism. Oh crap!
