New routine

So it's my new routine to check WA site, check DIAC, so I dont get any more nasty surprises!  (Well if I do then I wont be last to know anyhoo).

(It's 4 weeks today since we applied for WA SSV, their email did say 4 to 6 weeks to process so no doubt I will carry on checking emails in the vain hope that we get a mail from WA with some positive news). I cant help but think I didn't put enough detail in our application, with the rush to get it in). Ah well, there's nothing I can do about it now.  I think it'smore likly to be 10+ weeks, which will take us to the end of May.

OH has swung it with his employer to work until the end of May, and there's been a few resignations this week, so I'm sure he'll be fine as long as we need.  Let's face it, he IS their business and they need him as much as he needs them. He won't have to give notice now though, so if we get the thumbs up from WA then DIAC its just a month's notice to our letting agent for the house then we can be off!  (SSshhhh- had a sneaky peek at flights, and the offer for extra baggage is still on with Emirates, and still at the same fare).  Dare I wish for June sometime??? No, I daren't tempt fate, not again!

I really think we will sink deep into the pits of despair if WA say no, we'll have no other option but to wait it out.

We've been busy getting uniforms ready for school tomorrow. #1's teacher has been away for a few months, tragically her teacher's fiancee commited suicide, but I have a sneaky suspicion they may be back tomorrow, I hope so, #1 really loves her, and her work has suffered having a numbe of different teachers taking her class).

Got a busy couple of days at work, working full time next two day until the boss is back - I already know it's going to be manic, it would be a breeze if I had any clue what on earth I was doing, it's been a very steep learning curve, but I've enjoyed it immensley.

Right, it's a beautiful day, and I've just got to escape the shoebox while I can.  Last night I dreamt of a new home, a run-down old house, but one that I could call my own, it was very satisfying.  Can't wait to be a home owner again, well, one day.
