Brighter blog "Hooray! At Last!" I hear you cry!

Jeese, its been a while since I blogged, I've been keeping as busy as I can, been away for a few days, and trying to keep my mind off...erm....you know what (sshhhh...the "V" word).

Little one's hospital appointment went well, her eyes are improving, and no need for a patch! Yay!!  I tell her an hour before bed time, that she can take them off, but, bless her, she's determined to wear them as often as she can so her eyes get better sooner! How mature is THAT for a five year old! She's amazing!

Last week, we got the dreaded email from our CO, in response to my mail explaining our situation. She was very sympathetic, and did say that she has highlighted our case to her Manager, but for the most part, it said "you idiots, you shouldnt have sold your house, handed in your notice for work, and nope, there's no way of appealing or telling when our case will be looked at" etc etc

Gutted (again).

She did recommend we applied for SSV, which we have done, but even that looks like such a long wait from the thread I've been reading??  It's all out of our hands I guess, I am a little more accepting of the whole situation at the mo'.

Friday I cleared out the car, and we headed off to the coast for a couple of nights, I was 80% destracted, we both just kept thinking that the last time we were on the beach we were in Perthfect Perth, and what a world of difference there is in our two worlds.

Rellies rang me on my mobile, it was so lovely to hear her voice, but very sad and frustrating, I could almost feel her soft cuddles, her lovely Lancashire accent is still as infectious as ever. Love 'em so!

We've been out more than we've been in this week. The kids have a healthy glow about them, and we are all enjoying escaping the shoebox.

I've got a busy week coming up too. My bosses are off on holiday so I'm getting to do a lot more hours, which means that the Oz fund pot is steadily growing quite nicely.

See! It's not all bad is it!???

State Sponsored Visa
We applied for that with WA, it was our only option. The WA gov decision came back in 3 days - we have to live in WA for 2 years.

We love it here, seriously, apply for it - it is perm residency after all and it could be your way in.

Good luck.
