Well the dreaded email from Diac arrived this morning. I'm still having "Dongle-difficulties" so I sneaked on the computer at work. As I suspected it was a"naff-off you aint getting your visa n there's sod all you can do about it" email.

OH knew as soon as I walked in the door that something was wrong, I think neither of us can take any more of this. He cried, I cried, then he went for a walk to clear his head, I went fo a lay down, n ended up falling asleep, I wasnt tired, I just think sleep is an escape from the heartache.

I carefully constructed an email to DIAC tonight, and have sent it, explaining that we have done everything they asked of us, our case has been descision ready since 040209, that they did say that they would make a descision then, but havent. Explaining our personal situation with houses n jobs etc. I finally asked if there was any chance of appeal, and if not, could they at least tell me when July comes, whether our case would be looked at as all they have to do is "approve" us!?

I'll update you all on their reply - I'm quite prepared for another "sod-off there's bugger all you can do about it" email again.

OH has gone out for a drink, we are supposed to be going out tomorrow, got babysitter planned, we just dont feel like it, neither of us have eaten all day either.

I'm trying to focus on the positives, it will give us more time to save up, I've spoken to my boss and he really wants me to stay as long as I can, just OH that is unhappy, but he doesnt want to find another job (temp) doesnt wasnt to stay where he is (stubborn pride has a lot to do with it I think), and doesnt want to stay at home (even though we would manage).

Hospital appointment with #2 next week. I'm looking forward to school holidays too! Haven't even thought about #1's birthday or mine yet!??
