Scared, frightened, terrified of what may come next.....

OK - so its been a while since I could get a decent enough connection to come on BE, I was really happy last week because little ones medical's finally cleared, and I mailed DIAC to see if they wanted anything else.

Yesterday I found out about the CSL priority processing - or rather should I say Non-CSL freezing of visa's.

So to cut a long story short I am expecting a very sad email from DIAC this week. I didnt sleep a wink last night, FFS its so unfair - all the medicals, information and expense not to mention time we have spent in our quest to emigrate. All the documents are showing as "met" all meds finalised, all we want is the grant! But it looks like its not going to happen now.....

I daren't tell OH yet, he suspects but dont want to shatter his dream before I know for sure.  I'm now trying to find out if any state will sponsor us??  I've started completing WA sponsorship, I dont know if they'll have us but I can at least try??

I dont know if anyone reads this drivel I spout on here, but any advise of any state that are sponsoring Chef's I would be grateful. We are MODL just not CSL.

So sad, I cried myself to sleep last night, just don't know what I'm going to do? We've sold our lovely home, we are living in a shoebox on our matresses, OH has handed in his notice, what a Mother's Day uh!?

Update - Chef is on list for state sponsorship - am gonna fill out the forms as best I can, and as quick as I can.....

Sorry to read this blog. You sound desperate hun. Bloomin DIAC changing the rules. If I were you, I would ring and ring and ring, them. After all, if they ask for the meds now, it should mean your visa should be granted now you have gone to the trouble and expense of getting them done. If ringing doesn't work, try lodging a complaint, this just isn't on.
