Dongle or Dingle?

Well we have the keys to our new "home" - its not really a home, just a shoebox really, but beggars can't be choosers eh!?  I've been busy moving what I can, we will complete on Friday and I'm looking forward to the big worry of selling our house, finally being over.

HOC have sent two emails saying basically, that they are still looking at our file. Grrr! I've emailed DIAC to see if they can help - saying that they DID say that they would decide with or without it (not keep us hanging for over a month) You never know they might just give HOC a nudge for us?  It can't hurt anyway.

I've started telling people about our house move - I've made a list and counted over 20 people we need to tell. I might have to press-gang someone into tying up these loose ends when we leave our rental.

Come on you meds! Come on you visa ! Please?

I've arranged for a dongle (?? If thats the right term ?? not a Dingle from Emmerdale) a mobile internet thingy - so hopefully we can still be as paranoid checking daily our emails and status page without the luxury of a land-line.

I've been keeping busy today helping my friend with shifting some house-clearance stuff - in the vain hope that I'll sleep better tonight. She's lent us a sofa (that smells of old people) so I've given it a good clean and left the windows open a little (locked) so hopefully by the time we move on Friday it will be a bit more odour-less!

Finished work last week - kind of releived really - something less to worry about.

It was OH's birthday yesterday - he spent most of the day doing what he likes best ....watching the football! Looking forward to gettiong rid of Sky this week! :o)
