We've been looking at a few rental's in our area. The good ones seem to get snapped up quite quickly.  I've been busy ringing round rental agents explaining our situation in the hope that someone will agree to a shorter term rent. We'll be quite happy to commit to 3 months, but can't do 6 months (unless we do a "flit" and lose our deposit - which OH just doesnt want to do).

One agent has come back and said yes - brill I hear you cry ... but it is very small - they'll be enough room for our mattresses and cases - but not much else. On the positive side its very near OH's work, its cheap, adn its got a fridge and washing machine.  So if none of the other's we've looked at agree to shorter term, then at least we wont be homeless. Beggars cant be chooser's at the end of the day right?!

Lovely to hear that the waiting madness has ended for PamE - well done, peep peep! I'm still here in the crazyness. Our house sale *will* complete at the end of the month - I cant tell you how much I'm desperate for some good visa news before we leave.

Haven't got much else to sell now on ebay. Number 3 Perthette has been telling everyone she's sleeping on the floor (we sold her bed and she's just on her mattress at the mo' ) - just waiting for the doorbell to ring and social services to be round!
