Yesterday things progressed to the point of no return. I wished I'd had a choice in it but I didnt.

Firstly Ofsted rang to arrange an inspection - I explained my sitution, and they are going to send me out some "withdrawal forms" ...gulp!

I gave my notice, I am going to finish work on Friday 27th February - took it quite well really - said that they weren't suprised really, but would appreciate my help in finding them someone else.

My co-ordinator rang, she's been so helpful over the last year or so, I thought she's be really disappointed, but again, she was fine and very understanding.

I must learn not to worry so much! I feel better with the ball rolling.

Our house buyer was meant to come round for another look this morning - he didnt show!?? EA tried ringing him but no answer? Prob forgot or is more likely nursing a hangover in bed somewhere.

Right - off to ebay some more stuff, things going well, paid in some more money this morning into the "pot"! Growing nicely.

I've worked out that surely we shouls have heard some news on our visa by middle of Feb - my logic is this :

Request for further medical info received 19th December 2008...

We get 28 days to DO this, which takes us to 17th January 2009...

then, we get another 21 days for it to arrive in Australia, which takes us to 7th February 2009.

We were advised in email that our case would be decided with/without this info by this date!?

So *fingers crossed* we should have some news before we move - God I hope so!

OH has to give 3 months notice on his job, (doesnt have to but he's been so honest and upfront, in rerturn his employers have been great really) so ...... watch this space!
