Tiny is small and pink but is easing the pain

Last night my mum came and babysat - we weren't really in the mood, but went out anyway. We met up with some friends, and then went for something to eat. It was great, we had a laugh, had a few too many, but thankfully I (nearly) knew when to stop.  It was nice to take our minds off the lack of visa situation.

Yesterday my lovely little notebook came, it's pink! (OH not too chuffed about that, but its lovely)! Dongle is working better, internet connection quicker, so it's easing the pain a little.

New neighbours took delivery of it for us as I was at work (that we'd not met) so it was an excuse for me to introduce myself, apologies for noise of kids, and let them know that if that fat fuel guzzling galaxy was parked in their way to give us  a knock. The guy is absoluteley lovely (a doctor) and his wife is a teacher so understands totally about the kids.

Little brother should be here soon, he's already booked his flights to coinside with when we were planning on flying out to Perth, I think he's gonna be as disappointed as us at the visa sitch.

I'm still enjoying work, savings growing nicely, and my mum said we can use their home on the coast to escape for a couple of nights next weekend. It will do us all the world of good to escape the shoebox, and have a bit of a time-out from thinking about the visa.

Emailed rellies, they're gutted too.
