I'm getting my slap on this morning, because sometimes even when you're not going to see anyone but the dog and some magpies you want to fel good right?
Well that turned out wrong, because I'm of the school that the more you put on the better you look. So todays look is Rue Paul jumped in a sack with an Avon consultant and someone shook it really well.
Anyway whilst troweling it on i was thinking - what the hell do you put in a blog. I have to write something - come on we need to make this compulsive viewing funny and poignant with intelligent musings and all that good stuff.
So I went outside and lit up a fag still thinking. Hmmmm it's started snowing. I'll clear the path when it's stopped.
Then the dog dragged around his security blanket - which is a deer hide that he grabbed from the brush pile out back leftover from hunting season. I don't have the heart to take it away from him - you wouldn't take away your toddlers favourite toy would you.
So i'm looking half decent thinking whilst smoking, then the dumbass dog jumped up and schwcked me with his decaying hide and I got covered in deer fur.
I put it in the garbage. We'll take it to the tip later.
Still no further in the "make a cool blog entry" stakes I went to put the batteries in the trail cam.
Hubby likes to shoot things so we can eat them, and he bought this house because it is the centre of prime hunting country, and loads of things that go good with potatoes and gravy wander through the back pasture. Hence the trail cam. We can see what comes through the yard!
Even thats not an easy job :( Goddam wind the other night blew down a couple of dead (small) trees in the bush, so now still looking (as I think) like a supermodel on the front of Vogue, covered in deer hair I need to get these trees moved. Awesome. I'll get the quad out. No I won't the battery is dead from the cold weather.
So I stand there looking at them. Bollocks, i'll climb over them, put the batteries in the camera and charge the quad up and move them later.
So thats it. Just more stuff added to the list of "things to do later" which is huge already. Darcy (my hub) comes home next Wednesday. which means on Tuesday i'll get up at 6am and work through the list of things that I've put off because I can't be arsed, cursing all effing day at why the hell I didn't do everything when it happened instead of leaving it til the last minute - again.
Tomorrow the dog goes to town for his yearly shots and I volunteered to help my sis in law set up for her sons hockey tournament. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
