Saturday, February 4, 2006 - Behind the scenes at the Magic kingdom

One of the cool things about my job is that for the most part I have the freedom to travel anywhere in Los Angeles and Orange County to visit various customers so every day is different.  This week I have fitted XM radio to my company car, which is probably not strictly compliant with company policy but the XM receiver is only stuck on by an adhesive pad to the dash, so I can now drive around listening to real news on the BBC worldservice in-between visiting various clients around LA.

 This week I went to Disneyland who use a lot of our everyday product, and by a lot I mean hundreds of thousands of dollars worth. I have only visited Disneyland twice during my nearly 20 years living in LA, the place was packed with people pushing strollers everywhere and hour long lines for the rides so it was somewhat eerie to visit the ' Magic kingdom' early in the morning and get a behind the scenes view of how the place runs before being opened to the general public............... another perk is free tickets when I want to visit with my family.

I guess the job is cool  for now unless something better comes along.
