Nearly 3 years ago our 2 original Miniature Pinscher's( Spike & Siouxsie) had a litter of 5 puppies, we sold 4 of them and ended up keeping one called Zorro.

From time to time I wonder how the other 4 puppies are, wonder if they are still alive and well, if they are being treated okay and loved as much as we love our dogs?

 Elina bumped into one of the people that we sold a puppy to in a local store a couple of days ago, it was the only female pure red of the litter and I recall the couple lived in Malibu and bought her for their son. In chatting to the guy at the local store the guy that bought the puppy suggested to Elina that they swing by and have a reunion. Yesterday the couple called and they did  acytually stop by so the dogs could see each other. To be frank there seemed to be no instinctual canine family reunion. Siouxsie's puppy ( who was named Gypsy by the owners) did not seem to recognize her mother, Gypsy's behavior was distant and snappy upon  being  curiously approached by her canine family, any bonds that the 8 week old puppy we knew had seem to be gone forever. I am sure she has bonded with her new pack and sees them as her family now.

 The couple's son had grown quite a bit too from the little kid that came and picked his puppy nearly 3 years ago, it was nice to see the puppy is looked after and is being loved by her new family.
