Monday, October 3, 2005 - Third BE California booze up bash.

Saturday night I went out with some of the California BE contingent. I met up with Eskimo and Woodsey for the third time, I also had  the opportunity to meet Mr & Mrs. Bored Silly  for the first time as they were visiting from the Bay area of Northern California. The rendezvous was in an Irish pub located in Santa Monica, as is usual in meeting with people from BE the alcohol flowed freely which led to the mandatory silly photos being taken, which can be viewed here;

Unfortunately Elina  could not attend, she actually has a Finnish girlfriend who lives in the neighborhood where the bar was, who would probably have been more than happy to look after James, however James has a bad cold, which Elina felt would have been unfair to pass along to her friend and family. I did the decent thing and went along without her, I think I managed to drink enough for both of us? One can't let the side down and all that.

 Eskimo picked up the tab so I owe him one now, perhaps the curry night I have been promising will finally come to fruition in the very near future, I did however return the favor by posting a rather awful photo of him.

All in all it was a good night out with a great bunch of people, if you would have told me a year ago that I would be meeting up with people from an internet forum I would probably have said no way, what a loser, how wierd etc. I guess it pays to keep an open mind and be willing to experience new things and people....................... unless you are a 14 year old girl chatting  on-line to someone called Hardbody Hank or something similar.
