The famous folically challenged actor was not only famous for solving fictional crimes while sucking lolipops, he was a visionary who saw  Birmingham's futuristic potential , while the rest of the country, if not the world thought my city was merely a toxic dump and cultural wasteland, here is the footage to prove it.

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately the site only shows snippets of this milestone in cinematic history, complete with a soundtrack worthy of a bad 1970's porn movie, sunbathing Brummies and an insight of life in the 21st century. Telly's parting words are mixed metaphors where he seems to have amnesia as to his true identity, Telly Savalas, Frank Sinatra or Rick from Casablanca? The sincerity is completely underwhelming, sounds like he is really saying. "Goodbye Birmingham, hope I never fucking come back here again" .

Oh the cheeseyness, they don't make them like this anymore.
