Sunday, April 16, 2006 - Little Jamie Rose Bolin

This morning is Easter Sunday. Someone recently started a thread on British Expats asking about what happens when you die, is there a God or something similar. I'n not particularly religious, however I did  used to be when I was a child. If you are religious or not you would have to agree that there is definitely evil and good that occurs in the world every day.
I'm not sure what drives people to want to do good and some people to do evil. Why do some people want to paint, write music donate time to charities and care for the sick and helpless while other men are violent, greedy and destructive.
I have no answers to what makes us do what we do. Is it genetic, are we products of our environment succeptible to impulses propelling us toward good or bad.

The most painful part is reading that the little girl said " I'm sorry" when he first hit her. He then continued to take her life. Why?????????????? Where is God when this stuff happens. Is this the Devils work. 

While other children will be eating chocolate eggs and enjoying egg hunts today little Jamie was lying dead under a monsters bed.

Is men's daily works and deeds completely instinctual? Are acts of kindness and cruelty totally random?
