The meccano kit arrived

Well our house to be arrived yesterday on  huge truck, luckily for us the driver managed to get down our very bendy driveway without knocking any trees down and unloaded everthing on our building pad.  So thumbs up for the nice Ross Squire driver, minus point most of the window frames have been squished in the ratchet when on the truck, have yet to see what they do to fix that problem. 

Today however started our build, within 6 hours had all the frames up, internals as well!  Its looking really good, tomorrow is the start of the roof frame.  My site works fella came to have a giggle and was most impressed as he thought I was joking when I said we hoped to get the frames up in the first day.

The water tank is also here, that got installed on wednesday, looks absolutely huge it holds 150k of water.  Have my electrician booked in the do the first fix next monday, promised him the roof would be on, and the way its going it may well be.  Still waiting to hear on the plumber, will have to give him a shove in the right direction.

So all in all, day one of building our house has gone really well.
